Post operative instruction
Denture:
If you have removable partial or complete denture in your mouth then:
Dentures should be worn at night allowing the tongue cheeks and lips to become accustomed to their presence for the first week.
After that dentures should be removed during night for tissue health.
Whenever dentures should be removed after every meal and food debris washed away well and at least once daily the denture should be removed and cleaned with brush and a liquid detergent.
At night denture should be placed in water.
Don’t use harsh abrasive materials and hard bristles brush also avoid using sodium hypochlorite.
Very hot water may cause warpage.
If any difficulties, soreness or ulcers develop remove denture but wear it the day before going to dentist.
